Daniel comes from a family with 5 generations of military history. Born on Okinawa Japan to a Chamorro father from Guam and mother from Pennsylvania, he has an entire life of military family experiences. He moved around for a while before the family settled back on Guam. Only 6 years after returning to Guam he decided to join the military in 1996 and in 2003 was stationed in Germany. He was honorably discharged from the military in 2006 to pursue a different path. In 2008 after finishing his education, he was hired back in Germany again and he and his wife Keiko have been enjoying every moment. Although he is far from Home, he keeps those values at heart and pays forward the hospitality of his culture to all.
